What pandemics reminds you of Death !

There has been no case in my living memory that has garnered as much global attention as this one.

This world has seen the deaths of many famous people, tragedies, and bloody wars, but I have never seen anything like the way this COVID-19, also known as coronavirus, has seized the world's collective consciousness. It's being discussed everywhere and by everybody. Since it affects everyone and poses a threat to everyone. Otherwise, people die in huge numbers every year attributable to various causes such as severe diarrhoea, malnutrition, and injuries. What has happened in the last year across the world, the confusion, terror, and panic, when the whole world seems to have slowed down or stop, everything seems like we are watching a film. Since we've seen similar events in the film. Empty roads, towns that are deserted, and daily life that has come to a halt. When it arises in our lives, what can happen? World leaders convened for an emergency video conference. We are still in uncharted territory in Such a crisis has been shown in many films and in various contexts. It can be a natural tragedy, a killer virus or an AI turned mutant.

We understand what an apocalypse is. We have seen the end of the world. Artists, not astrologers, will also forecast the future for us. We know what life would be like and how it would look without us if we were all dead tomorrow; we've already seen it. But we are so caught up in our daily lives, cutting wood and fetching water, that we never consider that these imagined circumstances might even become a possibility. Knowing something and feeling it are two very distinct experiences. We are conscious about ourselves that we are living creatures. This means that, like all living things, we will die one day. We will all eventually decompose into dust and become food for worms. We are aware of this, but we never sense it.

Not only that, but we never think about our own demise. Homo sapiens have always found it difficult to acknowledge this reality. We are well aware that we are nothing more than heart-pounding, breath-gasping, meat-coated skeletons. Yet, we never have these feelings. We never feel like we're getting older. It seems that we will remain young indefinitely. People usually see death from a sentimental and poetic standpoint. Death is the symbol of the beginning of a new chapter. Death creates the way for the coming generation. Death liberates our soul from our body state. However, we have never been able to consider our own mortality. And it's natural, too, because, as far as I can tell, death is a cruel joke on our lives.

We fall in love, dream, have ambitions, listen to music, songs, hope, make art, pursue ecstasy, pleasure, and wonder because of the intensity of which we can self-reflect, the kind of rich consciousness that we have. And the way things are going, all of these powers will be taken away from you at some stage. Everything you care for will be stripped from you. This is a heinous betrayal of our lives. It's as if we're both born with a death sentence.

On the one hand, we will comprehend infinity, and on the other, we have our finite body. Our transient life. Our own demise Human existence is at odds here. Our actions are strongly affected by our understanding of our mortality.

On the one hand, we want to live forever, and on the other, we know we will die. So, what are we to do? How can we resolve this conflict? How can we come to terms with it? Our community, however, provides a solution to this issue. We create myths so that after death, we can travel to another planet, maybe the kingdom of the Lord, and live indefinitely if we are moral. We render drawings and compose poetry. Not only that, but we strive to do things for the public good to establish a reputation for ourselves. So that people remember us and our job lives on. And every now and then, we fell in love. We surrender ourselves in the embrace of our lovers, hoping that they will liberate us from our mortal coil.

Since you are in a different state when you are in love and with your lover. Death is the least of your concerns. We go to great lengths to give our lives eternal purpose. We do everything we can to beautify our lives so that they outlast our graves and funerals. Furthermore, we want to keep ourselves alive symbolically, if not physically. We simply do not wish to die. We are willing to believe something that guarantees that we will be forever. That there will be no conclusion. However, at the end of the day, everybody has died. Finally, what we get is a letdown. Our lovers, our fantasies, and our gods. No man, in the truest sense, protects us from our mortality. We are both afraid of death, including those who demand to go to paradise, as Steve Jobs once said, do not want to die. The immediate cause of this is physical discomfort. You have no clue if you would pass away. But, if we dig further, we discover that what we really fear is no harm but non-existence. We are afraid that we will vanish. We will put out the fire. Likewise, we are afraid that people will fail to recall us. But the fact is that we are all born to be lost in the heavens. If you know it or not, from the viewpoint of the Universe, your life expectancy is just a fraction of a dot if you consider the whole period, which is billions of years. In a very concrete way, we are already gone.
